Frequently Asked Questions
What are the cabin options on board?
We offer two ways to book a cabin. You can share a cabin with a travel companion, ideal for couples, friends or family sailing together. Or, if you’d prefer your own private space, you can reserve a full cabin for yourself with solo occupancy.
What are the payment options?
We offer full payment, low deposits (from just £500/$700 per person) and flexible monthly payment plans - full details are shown on the next step when booking, and we’re always here if you need to discuss options.
Are there any additional costs?
You’ll just need to book your own flights and airport transfers, and arrange personal travel insurance, plus cover the cost of any meals and drinks on land.
Tipping is optional and always appreciated. If your skipper and chef make the trip special (and they usually do), we recommend between £200 and £400 per guest, shared between them.
What’s your cancellation and refund policy?
All deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations made 90 days or more before your sail will receive a refund minus the deposit and any transaction fees. Cancellations made within 90 days of departure are non-refundable.
Refunds will be processed within 10 days of receiving your cancellation request.
If full payment isn’t made by the specified due date, any amount paid to date will be forfeited.
Where do we check in and set sail?
Your Nautica experience begins at the marina in Alimos, Athens, Greece. Check-in is from 5pm on the first day of your trip.
You’ll need to make your own way to the marina - the nearest airport is Athens Airport (ATH), just 40-45 minutes away by taxi.
Ahead of your sail, we’ll send you a handy travel guide with all you need to know - best flights, transfer tips, and nearby hotels if you want to stay a night pre or post-sail. And we’re always here if you need a little extra advice.
Why Nautica Collective?
Curated Routes — Sail between island towns, hidden coves and some of the best spots along the coast. Small Groups — Up to 10 guests per yacht and no more than five yachts sailing together. Local Knowledge — Experienced crews who know the waters, the destinations and where to go along the way. Food & Drink Onboard — Chef-prepared meals, chilled wine, cocktails on deck and plenty of time around the table. Time On & Off the Water — A balance of sailing, swimming and exploring ashore, with plenty of time to simply enjoy being onboard.
Who is the trip for
Your fellow crew
Our trips are joined by people who share a love of travel, good food and exploring somewhere new.
Come solo, with a friend or as part of a group. Either way, you’ll be sharing the experience with people who are there for the same reason — to explore, have a great time and meet new people along the way.
