Aegina

Day 1: Athens Riviera → Aegina

Board at Alimos marina, just south of Athens, and we are off the dock and heading for Aegina by early afternoon. It is the closest of the Saronic islands and the one Athenians have been escaping to for generations. We drop anchor off the island for the night, dinner onboard as you ease into yacht life.

poros

Day 2: Aegina → Poros via Moni

A short morning sail broken by a swim stop at Moni, the pine-covered islet off the south of Aegina. The water is clear to the bottom and there are wild deer and peacocks on the island if you go ashore. From there it is a little over an hour on to Poros, tonight your private chef prepares a Greek feast onboard.

GREECE

Day 3: Poros

A slow morning out on the water before we bring the boats onto the Poros town. The afternoon is yours with multiple options in Poros, swim and relax or take ATVs out across the island. As the light drops, walk up to the clock tower above the town for the view back over the channel and the rooftops. Dinner ashore on the waterfront.

dokos

Day 4: Poros → Dokos

A full day on the water, sailing down to Dokos, an uninhabited island sitting between Poros and Hydra with nothing on it but a couple of quiet bays and the site of one of the oldest shipwrecks ever found. We raft up for the night, swim off the back of the boats and have dinner aboard under the stars.

Day 5: Dokos → Hydra

A short hop across to Hydra, then a full day to take it in. There are no cars or scooters on Hydra, just stone mansions stacked up the hillside, donkeys along the harbour front, and some of the best swimming in the Saronic off the rocks at Spilia and Hydronetta. We will anchor in a nearby bay for a Greek feast onboard.

agistri

Day 6: Hydra → Agistri

A full day on the water and the longest leg of the week, sailing north from Hydra up to Agistri, the small pine-covered island tucked in behind Aegina. We break the sail with a swim stop and lunch on the yacht, then drop anchor off Agistri for the night, in a turquoise bay on the south of the island with a little islet you can swim across to. Wine tasting followed by dinner aboard.

athens

Day 7: Agistri → Athens

A final day on the water to bring us home. A morning swim off Agistri, at Dragonera where the pine forest runs right down to the sea, then the boats turn north for the run up the coast to Athens with a last swim along the way. A final farewell toast onboard as you disembark and you can either head into Athens to explore or take in one of the amazing local Greek beach clubs just a short walk from the marina.
